PERFORMANCES
Jeff is a Yamaha artist and and has had an extensive career in performing in a variety of styles. . He started playing piano at age 8 and studied jazz piano with John Mehegan in his early teens. After moving to Houston in 1970 Jeff performed with jazz and pop groups and started working professionally at age 16. He graduated Cal Arts with a Bachelor of Music Degree and his first job in LA was touring in Asia with The Hues Corporation, (Rock The Boat).

Jeff then became Les Brown's pianist for 3 years and accompanied such artists as Frank Sinatra, Mel Tormé and Sammy Davis Jr. New York City became Jeff's home the early 80's playing jingles and performing with his own jazz fusion band while playing with such artists as Andy Snitzer, Chuck Loeb , Lyle Lovett and Jerry Dodgion. Jeff has been studying with Phil Cohen for over 40 years and he has produced his last 3 solo piano CD’s in Montreal, Canada at Oscar Peterson Hall.
Jeff performs extensively in the NYC area with his jazz trio as well accompanying singers. He has been performing solo piano at Joe’s Pub for the last 5 years. He frequently performs solo piano in Houston at Cezanne as well as in Southern California.

Recently Jeff has been performing Facebook Live Video Solo Piano Concerts every Thursday at 5:PM EST since March, 2020 improvising to Theme requests. Jeff performs originals as well as Jazz and Pop Standards and is now performing Metropolitan Zoom Solo Piano Concerts every 6 weeks.

Jeff has also been the arranger and pianist for Holland's The Voice winner Dennis van Aarssen on Superhero, This Too Shall Pass and his upcoming single Meet Me in Miami due to be released on August 14th, 2020.
